Tarot Cards Reading: The Path

For “The Path” layout, you draw a total of seven cards. This tarot system is one of the most well-known variations and can help you when you’re looking for perspective. How will a relationship or job develop? You can get answers to these questions here.

Draw the cards in the following order:

  1. The Main Theme: Card No. 1 shows what it’s all about.
  2. How You’ve Thought Until Now: Second, draw a card that gives you an assessment. Place this slightly offset to the left under the first card.
  3. Your Unconscious Attitude: The next card goes under card No. 2. It reveals what subconscious messages are present. What were the motivations that weren’t completely clear to you?
  4. Your Facade: Card No. 4 provides insight into your appearance. This is how you come across to others. Place this card under the third card.
  5. What You Should Reveal: The fifth card contains advice and shows how you should change your behavior. The fifth card is placed to the right of the fourth card.
  6. What You Should Allow: Card No. 6 encourages you to reveal certain feelings or moods. Place this card above card 5.
  7. What You Should Do Now: The seventh and final card encourages you to act differently accordingly. It can also show what you should change. The seventh card is placed above the sixth card.

Unsure about what the individual cards mean? Here’s a helpful overview of tarot card meanings.

Quick Tarot for the Day

You have little time and want to know what to expect for the rest of the day? Choose the quick daily tarot, which consists of only two cards:

  1. Draw the first card, which represents your daily challenge. This describes the basic mood and can also draw attention to challenges.
  2. The second card you draw describes the solution or suggests a specific course of action.

Tarot Against Uncertainty: The Decision Game

Tarot cards for the undecided! Is there a question you’ve been asking yourself for a while? Should I or shouldn’t I – in such situations, the decision game brings clarity.

Think of a specific question before you start the reading. Preferably one that contains two possibilities. For example: Should I quit my job or stay? Keep running the question through your mind as you draw the different cards.

You will draw a total of seven cards. Orient yourself by a slanted V pattern. Place cards alternately in the upper row, then in the lower row, slightly slanted, so that you get a horizontal V. The tip points to the left – it consists of the seventh and final card.

  1. Cards 1, 3, 5: These cards show the effects of the first option (for example, quitting your job).
  2. Cards 4, 2, 6: These cards show the effects of the second option (staying in your current job).
  3. The seventh card forms the tip of the slanted V. It is placed all the way to the left and represents the current mood or the initial situation or problem.

You now have before you how both options might play out. Hopefully this helps you with your decision!

Tarot Card Reading: The Blind Spot

Would you like to know what others actually think of you? Then you should try the “The Blind Spot” spread. Here, you draw four cards that reveal what others see – and what might remain hidden from yourself.

Here’s how to proceed:

  1. What you and others see: This is symbolized by the first card.
  2. What only others see: Place card #2 to the right of card 1. It reveals characteristics that only others see.
  3. What you hide: The third card is placed beneath the first card. This involves something you’re aware of, but you conceal it.
  4. What moves you subconsciously: The fourth and final card is now placed to the right of the third card. It shows something you’re not fully conscious of.

Tarot for Love Questions: The Relationship Game

With the Relationship Game, you discover more about the bond with another person. It’s wonderfully suitable for all kinds of love questions. It’s laid out in an H-shape: One card lies in the middle, with rows of three cards each to the left and right.

Draw the cards in this order:

  1. The basic theme. Place the first card in the middle; it reveals the fundamental theme governing the relationship.
  2. The conscious attitude of the other person: The second card is placed to the right and slightly higher up, reflecting the thinking of the other person.
  3. The feelings of the other person: Card #3 lies below card 2 and to the right of card 1. This is about the feelings of the person you’re interested in.
  4. How the other person presents themselves: Place the fourth card below the third card. Through this, you learn more about the behavior of the other person toward you.
  5. Your behavior: Now form the left row of the spread. Start with the fifth card, which you place diagonally to the left below the card in the middle. Learn here how you behave toward the other person.
  6. Your feelings: Learn more about your emotional world through the sixth card, which is placed above card #5.
  7. Your conscious attitude: What do you really think of the other person? This is shown by the seventh card, which you place above the sixth.

Look at how you (left row) and the other person (right row) are characterized through the spread. What fits and what doesn’t?

Tarot Card Reading: The Star

Did you know? The Star is both a tarot card and a tarot spread! Want to learn something about your wishes and desires? The Star conveys what you really need right now and how you can achieve it. This type of tarot card reading is especially fun in a social gathering.

You will draw a total of five cards. Place cards 1 through 4 in a circle, with the fifth placed in the center later. Proceed as follows:

  1. Where you are right now: The first card shows your starting point.
  2. What you need to do now: The second card deals with your tasks. Place this card slightly offset to the left below the first card.
  3. Your problems: Potential challenges are revealed by the third drawn card, which you place at some distance below the first card.
  4. Your talents and strengths: The fourth card shows where your (hidden) talents lie, which will help you now. Place the fourth card at some distance to the right of the second card.
  5. Where the journey is heading: The fifth card reflects your goal. Place this card in the middle.

Reading tarot cards can be very entertaining and educational. But don’t forget: The cards only show tendencies and warnings, so don’t be unsettled if you draw a seemingly negative card.
